Takeda is a research-based pharmaceutical company, the largest in Japan and one of the industry’s global leaders. They required an online catalogue with a limited number of pre-approved corporate branded items allowing users across 30 European countries access to generate enquiries and place orders. Takeda were using local suppliers and managing the process in-house, which was leading to inconsistencies in the promotional items being ordered across different markets.
Adare worked closely with Takeda to research the optimum items for the catalogue and built and implemented a bespoke Premiums Portal. A launch meeting was organised in Zurich by Adare to explain how the project would be rolled out and the benefits the new system would bring, a user guide was issued and the local Adare teams also met with suppliers to introduce the solution and show samples.
Adare launched the Premiums Portal in February 2014 and in the first week alone, over 200 users registered for the site. Takeda benefited from a well organised and effective pan European roll out with excellent communication at all stages. The solution was on time and within budget and costs were reduced with guaranteed savings of 20%.
