Judges at the locally known POPAI Brasil Awards have heaped praise on our colleagues across LATAM, honouring them with ten awards at the highly prestigious ceremony.
Our teams picked up seven Gold and two Bronze awards, as well as one Special Design of the Year award. The annual POPAI event acknowledged our teams for their work managing the whole concept design, development as well as their execution of the various campaigns.
The awards themselves, which have been taking place for two decades, recognise the most original and effective projects of commercial architecture, visual merchandising, visual communication, displays and communication materials at the Point of Sale.
Vanessa Fassolas, Contract Director in LATAM, said: “I am extremely proud of what I call my ‘dream team’ for winning so many awards in our version of the Oscars. They have all worked incredibly hard alongside both our clients and suppliers to produce these innovative campaigns, which have not only caught the eye of the judges, but also importantly the consumer.”
Particular attention was paid by the judges to the Structured Island created for Nestlé’s Ninho brand. The bespoke creation, made of MDF and lamination, utilised LED’s to draw the attention of shoppers at the point of sale. Branded throughout, its structure even took on key brand elements and was developed to incorporate the iconic heart shape.
The main objective for the piece, awarded the Special Design of the Year, was to stand out at the point of sale. It was to inform parents that Ninho is more nutritious for children, is reliable and makes their child grow through its formula. In addition to highlighting the product formula, a ruler was featured on the Island to measure a child's height - a fun way to interact at the point of sale and show that Ninho Forti helps grow and develop well-nourished children.
